
On May 29, 2023, students of Nizhne-Burluk Secondary School of the Aiyrtau District in the North Kazakhstan Region visited RSE the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai”. An excursion around the exhibition hall was organized for the students.
Students and teachers of the Kozhabergen Zhyrau Basic School in the village of Presnovka, Zhambyl District, visited the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” and the Botai settlement. The staff of the museum-reserve conducted a thematic guided tour for the children through the exhibition hall of the museum-reserve and around the Botai settlement, introducing the students to ancient technologies of food processing and tool-making. The children also had the opportunity to see the archaeological excavation site and received a great deal of interesting and useful information.
From May 22 to May 27, 2023, first-year students enrolled in the educational program “Geography–History” at Sh. Ualikhanov University in Kokshetau began their educational archaeological practice at the Botai settlement. A total of 49 students are participating in the archaeological practice, including 27 female and 22 male students.
