On August 17, 2024, a large festive event was organized at the ethnovillage complex of the “Zeynep” Higher Multidisciplinary College in Lobanovo village, Aiyrtau District.

On August 15, 2024, in celebration of Archaeologist’s Day (an informal professional holiday observed in several post-Soviet countries, including Kazakhstan), the Republican State Enterprise “State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve ‘Botai’” of the Committee of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an educational field trip for children from the “Center for Support of Children in Difficult Life Situations” of Aiyrtau District. The excursion took place in a protected natural area where ancient archaeological settlements, historical monuments, and the picturesque nature of Aiyrtau District in the North Kazakhstan Region are organically located.

The horse marathon “Ұлы дала жорығы,” which will be held in Astana this year as part of the 5th World Nomad Games, is scheduled to start on September 3 at 7:00 a.m. at the Botai settlement (Aiyrtau District, village of Nikolskoye).

On July 18–19, 2024, the Republican State Enterprise “State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve ‘Botai’” of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the specialized exhibition “Kazakhstan Field Day ‘Jańa Dala / Green Day 2024’” held on the demonstration fields of Akkol District, Akmola Region. At this event, the “Botai” museum-reserve presented a yurt exhibition featuring unique artifacts of the Botai culture and archaeological finds. The exhibition was visited by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Saparov, and the Akim of Akmola Region, Marat Muratovich Akhmetzhanov.

The main subject of the event was the demonstration of modern agricultural equipment and machinery, as well as the establishment of business contacts. At the same time, agriculture is closely connected with the development of other sectors of the economy, business, investment attraction, tourism, and national culture. The early representatives of the Botai culture were also proto-agricultural communities engaged in hunting and fishing, producing tools, manufacturing fermented dairy products, and domesticating and breeding horses. Therefore, the exhibition of the historical and cultural heritage of the Botai culture aroused significant interest among visitors to the event.
