Staff of the Department for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Botai Museum-Reserve regularly carry out preservation measures and monitor the condition of structures located within the protected zones of the Botai settlement.

On November 4, 2026, another monitoring survey was conducted using aerial photography to assess the technical condition and preservation status of the historical structures at the Botai settlement.
