On March 28, 2023, staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai”, with the aim of popularizing the unique Eneolithic archaeological site, delivered a lecture for school students from the city of Kokshetau titled “Botai. 4th Millennium BCE” at Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University.

Students were provided with detailed information about Botai culture and its unique artifacts. In addition, they were introduced to evidence related to the domestication of the wild horse by the Botai people, and were shown ancient tools and weapons used in daily life, along with demonstrations of their production and methods of use.

An interactive element of ancient Botai culture was also presented, including a hands-on workshop on ceramic production.

The students immersed themselves in the world of Botai culture, asked questions of interest, and received comprehensive answers.
