On February 17, 2023, staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” organized an exhibition and lecture for first-year students of the educational programs “History and Religious Studies,” “Geography and History,” and “Scientific History” at Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University on the topic “Botai Culture. Domestication of Horses in Kazakhstan.”

The students were presented with a documentary film about the reconstruction of ancient Botai dwellings and the domestication of wild horses. They also showed interest in the clothing of ancient Botai women, the tools they used, and the houses in which they lived.

The students carefully listened to information about the Botai culture of the Eneolithic period and showed great interest in the presented materials.
