On February 3, 2023, an excursion for 6th-grade students of the Saumalkol Kazakh Secondary School was organized in the exhibition hall of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” on the topic “Botai – A Settlement of Ancient People.”

During the thematic excursion, students were introduced to the local historian and school director Yeslyambek Zakiryayuly, who presented the first previously unknown valuable artifacts of Botai culture to science, as well as to V. F. Zaibert, who introduced Botai culture to the world, and to the unique discoveries and archaeological excavations of Botai culture.

Students were also presented with valuable artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations, including a bone knife, a bone harpoon, a human skull with traces of trepanation, and ceramic fragments. The purpose and use of each artifact were fully explained to the students.
