Today, on January 27, 2023, the Head of the Excursion Department of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai”, Zh. O. Mukusheva, and guide M. M. Kuttybay, in honor of the 5th anniversary of the Botai Museum-Reserve, conducted a historical and educational museum lesson for students of KSU “Karatalskaya Secondary School” and KSU “Rudnenskaya Secondary School” on the topic “Journey into the World of Botai.”

During the lesson, students became thoroughly familiar with the history of Botai culture as well as the unique artifacts discovered at the Botai settlement.

Students were also asked questions on the topic and given question cards, including topics such as the modern state of horse breeding, methods of domesticating horses, advantages of Botai dwellings, and the creation of one of the earliest cities, among others. The students provided detailed and well-reasoned answers.

It is hoped that this event will become an engaging learning experience for students and increase their respect for historical and cultural heritage and monuments.
