In January 2023, the “Five Years Together” campaign dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” is being held for school students from Saumalkol village.

In connection with this, on January 26, 2023, students of grade 5 “G” from School-Gymnasium No. 2 in Saumalkol visited the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai”. For the schoolchildren, a very interesting and educational excursion through the exhibition hall of the Botai Museum-Reserve was organized. The children received information about unique historical artifacts and had their questions answered. The excursion through the museum hall was greatly enjoyed by the students. During the excursion, an installation titled “Archaeological Research of Botai Culture” was presented, where students were able to immerse themselves in history and take part in simulated archaeological excavations.
