
On November 3, 2022, at the Karaganda Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, a special exhibition of valuable artifacts from museums of the republic was organized as part of the celebration of the museum’s 90th anniversary. Karaganda Regional Museum of History and Local Lore
At the exhibition, guests were able to see valuable artifacts of Botai culture. Special attention of visitors was drawn to one of the unique artifacts of Botai culture – a bone knife and an ornamented horse phalanx. The exposition included valuable exhibits from museums across Kazakhstan. The main part of the exhibition consisted of archaeological items, horse harnesses, and jewelry.
As a continuation of the exhibition, the international seminar-training “Museum pedagogy: traditions and innovations” began its work. Russian and domestic historians, museum specialists, and archaeologists took part in the seminar and shared their reports and new ideas for museums.
The events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Karaganda Museum were held at a high level and in a special atmosphere.
