On August 26, 2022, the August Conference of teachers of the city of Kokshetau was held at the “Dostar” House of Culture in Kokshetau. An exhibition titled “Botai – the path through millennia” was presented to the participants and guests of the event. The uniqueness of the exhibition was that it featured invaluable artifacts discovered at the ancient settlement of Krasny Yar, located within the boundaries of the city of Kokshetau. This archaeological monument belongs to Botai culture and for a long time remained insufficiently studied.

In this regard, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” organized an expedition to this archaeological site during the 2022 field season. School students from the city of Kokshetau and the settlement of Krasny Yar took part in the expedition’s activities. Therefore, today at the exhibition, teachers had the opportunity to personally see the archaeological artifacts and exhibits discovered by the hands of their students and to appreciate the students’ educational efforts in studying their native history.
