On October 13, 2022, students of General Education School No. 5 in the town of Tayynsha, Tayynsha District, North Kazakhstan Region, visited the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai”. For the schoolchildren, a guided tour of the exhibition hall was organized on the topic “Journey to the Stone Age.” In this thematic excursion, it was explained that the Early Stone Age is the initial period of human formation and the development of human economy, that the development of humanity during this period was very slow, and that it was followed by the Bronze Age. There is also information about the Eneolithic period, a special era between the Stone Age and the Bronze Age.

Next, the students visited the Botai settlement and were able to observe the construction works of an ancient Botai dwelling at the archaeological excavation site of 2022. They became acquainted with the construction of an experimental Botai dwelling and gained new knowledge and positive impressions.

The museum guests learned about the history of the Aiyrtau region and the fascinating science of archaeology, and received answers to their questions of interest
